doubleshot Coffee School in Prague

The doubleshot coffee school has been here since 2014 for everyone who wants to expand their knowledge of coffee, whether you are a complete beginner, an enthusiastic private home barista or an experienced professional.

For the Public

Great coffee at home? We will teach you how to prepare it exactly to your liking. You will try different methods of preparation and different coffees, and you will discover the one that suits you the best. We will guide you through the cultivation and processing of coffee and help you get familiar with kitchen or office coffee brewing equipment.

For Professionals

Future and current baristas, café staff, coffee merchants and experienced coffee enthusiasts! Come and deepen your knowledge, especially about espresso, with the opportunity to complete the course with an international SCA Barista Foundation and Intermediate diplomas.

Companies and Teambuildings

Is your group large? We have enough space. Whether you are looking for evening entertainment for a group of friends or an interesting teambuilding, we can provide a great program. Advanced baristas will be able to get a lesson in sensorics and metrics. We will tailor the course program to your tastes and needs.

Workshops

Get even closer to coffee! We are happy to invite our partner farmers and producers to lectures. We taste coffees from all over the world, we organize public cuppings and workshops. Follow the latest events on our Instagram or subscribe to our newsletter.

Tereza Balá

Head Trainer

If you are among our regular customers, you may have met Tereza at the lever in one of our cafés. She is the Czech Barista of the Year 2010 and had represented the Czech Republic at the World Barista Championship in London, where we met her and never let her go.
